Your equipment combines the technical expertise needed to go anywhere, in any weather, with the durability of materials and eco-responsibility.

The materials are selected and tested for the quality of their fiber (non-pilling, abrasion resistance, breathability, waterproofing, windproofing...)

On average, 90% of the technical materials are recycled, using a mechanical recycling process that has less impact on the environment

It's not just the fabric that has to come from Europe, it's also the material that goes into making it. Technical raw materials come from Europe, the only exception being virgin merino wool from New Zealand, where AYAQ sources one of the world's finest wools for technical garments from committed, responsible farms. 100% of its treatment (washing, carding, dyeing, spinning, etc.) is then carried out in Italy, so your product is designed in depth in our regions.

We select Merino wool from among the best in the world. All processing (cleaning, combing, carding, spinning...) is carried out in Italy. Sheep are raised in the open air on farms that treat animals with respect, and where mulesing is strictly forbidden. The wool provides exceptional comfort, with a 17-micron yarn that combines strength and softness.

Our workshops use water treatment and waste recovery processes, and are 100% Green Energy certified.

Respect in the products we use
PFC is a substance that is very harmful to the environment and to people, but it is widely used in the textile industry for water-repellency treatment, and it makes production much easier. We have chosen the more complex route of completely doing without this chemical, and using an environmentally-friendly product. It's not been an easy road, and we've had to adapt the production process accordingly. In the first year, production of the down jackets was delayed by 2 months, resulting in cancelled orders. Today, we are proud to be able to offer durable, highly environmentally-friendly technical equipment.
