Vincent Defrasne

Vincent Defrasne is Olympic Champion 2006 in Biathlon.

With a wealth of sporting and professional experience, Vincent Defrasne is a passionate entrepreneur and has set himself a new challenge with the creation of the AYAQ brand in 2020.

A collection of technical clothing dedicated to outdoor sports and skiing in all its forms. 

A real desire and will to be in phase with the evolution of society, the economic world and the climate, the brand has a strong and committed strategy of eco-responsibility with production from natural and recycled materials located in Europe, in the heart of the Alps.

Before aiming for and winning medals and Olympic titles, I was first of all a kid from the Jura mountains, a child of the snow, in love with nature and the mountains, passionate about skiing.

In creating AYAQ, I wanted to offer a range of ski and mountain sports clothing developed and produced in Europe.

The AYAQ universe is eco-designed, committed and efficient. 

Vincent Defrasne - Olympic Biathlon Champion 

Vincent Defrasne is a French athlete, known and recognized for his athletic performances in biathlon with notably the title of Olympic Champion in pursuit at the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin.

Reliving Vincent's victory at the Turin Olympics 

Born in the Jura mountains, in Pontarlier, he also has two Olympic bronze medals to his credit (in the relay, at the 2002 and 2006 Olympic Games). 

He holds five world medals, one individual in the pursuit at the 2007 World Championships, and four with the relays, including two world titles. He is also the winner of a "small" crystal globe in the World Cup. 

Vincent Defrasne was Flag Bearer for the French Olympic team at theVancouverGamesin 2010. 

After a rich and fulfilling sporting career, he continued to invest in the world of sport, notably by working for 4 years at the International Olympic Committee in Lausannebut also in the business world by contributing his expertise and experience. He became Director of the Somfy Foundation in 2011.
