• Windproof material: 100% recycled polyester
• Breathable material: 84% recycled polyester and 16% elastane
• Chest pocket: 100% recycled polyester

Windproof fabric (Italy): 100% mechanically recycled polyester

Breathable fabric (France): Recycled polyester made from 100% recycled plastic bottles. 2-layer fabric specially developed for AYAQ, using around 80% less glue than conventional 2-layer fabric. Higher breathability and better environmental performance. 

Yoke fabric (woven in France), made from 100% recycled polyester yarn from recycled plastic bottles (Italy - Turin region). Laminated fabric specially developed for AYAQ, using at least 80% less glue than a conventional 2-layer fabric thanks to an innovative process. This partnership with our supplier ensures higher breathability and better environmental performance. 

Main pocket fabric (Italy): soft fleece feel, 100% recycled polyester 

Clean Mountain Pocket" fabric (Germany): Waterproof SYMPATEX fabric, made from recycled polyester, for a pocket that allows you to bring back the garbage you find in the mountains.

Your SHANDAR jacket takes its name from a magnificent glacier in Pakistan. To respect and protect this ice giant, we've gone to great lengths to design an eco-friendly garment made from natural or recycled materials.

• Breathable fabric in strategic places for excellent evacuation of perspiration (armpits and back). This fabric provides excellent breathability while being particularly eco-friendly thanks to our 2-layer material made with 80% less glue.
• Very high freedom of movement thanks to fabrics with four-way elasticity 
• Waist tightening with ultra-precise and ergonomic adjustment 
• Adjustable elastic cuffs
• Semi-storm collar for good wind clearance
• Good moisture wicking and fast drying
• Chest zip pocket accessible even with a harness 
• Clean Mountain Pocket: pocket made of waterproof fabric to collect waste found in the mountains without getting dirty.

Designed with great care and the selection of the most technical and mountain-friendly materials, your SHANDAR Softshell Jacket is guaranteed for 3 years. 

Washing : Machine wash at 30°C maximum, inside out and with zips closed. Standard detergent, no fabric softener or bleach.

Drying: Air-dry inside out. Do not tumble dry.

We have also selected the materials for their robustness, and the workmanship of our craftsmen brings a great resistance.

To ensure that your SHANDAR Softshell Jacket will be with you for years to come on your outdoor adventures, we will repair it as much as possible in our workshop near the Alps.
