• Breathable fabric in strategic places for excellent evacuation of perspiration (armpits and back). This fabric provides excellent breathability while being particularly eco-friendly thanks to our 2-layer material made with 80% less glue.
• Very high freedom of movement thanks to fabrics with four-way elasticity 
• Waist tightening with ultra-precise and ergonomic adjustment 
• Adjustable elastic cuffs
• Semi-storm collar for good wind clearance
• Good moisture wicking and fast drying
• Chest zip pocket accessible even with a harness 

• Clean Mountain Pocket: pocket made of waterproof fabric to collect waste found in the mountains without getting dirty.

Composition of materials

• Windproof material: 100% recycled polyester
• Breathable material: 84% recycled polyester and 16% elastane
• Chest pocket: 100% recycled polyester

Windproof fabric (Italy) : 100% mechanically recycled polyester

Breathable fabric (France) Recycled polyester from 100% recycled plastic bottle recycling. 2-layer fabric specially developed for AYAQ, about 80% less glue than a classic 2-layer fabric. Allows higher breathability and better environmental performance.

Yoke fabric (woven in France), made of recycled polyester yarn from 100% recycled plastic bottles (Italy - Turin region). Laminated fabric specially developed for AYAQ, with at least 80% less glue than a classic 2-ply fabric thanks to an innovative process. This partnership with our supplier allows a higher breathability and a better environmental performance.

Main pocket fabric (Italy) : fleece touch, soft, 100% recycled polyester

Clean Mountain Pocket" fabric (Germany) Waterproof SYMPATEX fabric, made of recycled polyester, for a pocket to carry the waste you find in the mountains.

To respect and protect this ice giant, we have put all our efforts into designing an eco-friendly garment, made from natural or recycled materials, because AYAQ wants to accompany your best mountain adventures without harming the environment.

Designed with great care and the selection of the most technical and mountain-friendly materials, your SHANDAR Softshell Jacket is guaranteed for 3 years. 

• Washing Machine washable up to 30°C, inside out with zips closed. Regular detergent, no fabric softener or bleach.
• Drying Drying: Air dry inside out. Do not tumble dry..

We have also selected the materials for their robustness, and the workmanship of our craftsmen brings a great resistance.

To ensure that your SHANDAR Softshell Jacket will be with you for years to come on your outdoor adventures, we will repair it as much as possible in our workshop near the Alps.
