Great sportsman, entrepreneur, coach, teacher... Iwan has many strings to his bow: he is an example for AYAQ.

"I come from the beautiful village of Jaun, in Gruyère in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. Sport has had a big impact on my life, firstly by competing in alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, duathlon, winter triathlon and adventure races. I was a high school teacher and later the national coach of Swiss Triathlon. By creating my own company Mulaff, I fulfilled my dream list by creating my own beer, energy bar, cycling clothes. I do coaching for athletes and organise events. I'm really looking forward to being an AYAQ ambassador."

His favourite ski touring route: the Wandflue above Jaun in Gruyère 

JULIA PELLIER

We are extremely proud to be able to count on a Haut Savoyard to start the adventure. A true mountain enthusiast and professional.

"I live in Haute Savoie, which makes me a mountain lover.
I have been involved in sport since I was very young, especially downhill skiing. I practised skiing at a high level for 4 years. I am now in the field of nutrition to help athletes (but not only) to take care of themselves and improve their performance. In parallel, I am a ski instructor. Ski touring, cross-country skiing, trail running and cycling have become my daily sport.

Her favourite ski touring route: Mont Buet in Chamonix.   

ANTOINE CAPELLARO

Passionate about mountains and wide open spaces since he was young, Antoine is also a talented photographer. At AYAQ we are under the spell of his photos.

"I spend my winters ski touring between big slopes and couloirs. A successful mountain outing, in my opinion, is a wild route, friends and optionally good snow.

My second passion, always in line with our beautiful playground, is photography and video. An activity totally in line with my vision: sharing and memories".

His favourite ski touring route: the Grande Faille in the Bauges.

YANN GEROME

AYAQ will never be lost thanks to Yann, our high mountain guide. Incredible and vertiginous.

"I am a high mountain guide and rescue worker at the PGHM in Chamonix. I practice the mountain in all its forms. Mountaineering, ski touring, climbing, ice climbing. I simply love being up there, whether it's to do a great race, climb a mythical peak, guide, share, and recharge my batteries."

His favourite ski touring trip: the Puiseux breach in the Mont Blanc massif. "Skiing in the heart of the massif, passing by the feet of the giants that are Mont Blanc, the granite spires of the East Face of Tacul, then climbing this couloir that leads you to the Périades under the Giant's Tooth to finish on a major descent in front of Les grandes Jorasses."

SIMON DESTOMBES

Simon Destombes is a real mountain enthusiast: climbing, mountaineering, ski touring, ice climbing, this high mountain guide from the Vercors spends his time on the summits.

"For almost 40 years, I have never stopped trying to fulfil my childhood dreams in this environment which still transports me today. This adventurous life has made me aware of the fragility of our planet and the need to take the greatest care of it.

It is for this reason that Simon joined the AYAQ adventure. "We have the same vision of eco-responsibility. From my humble point of view, because of its choices of conception, production and design, AYAQ is a resolutely modern brand that fits me."

His favourite ski touring route: the crossing of Corsica for its wild aspect and the marriage between high mountains and Mediterranean softness.

VALÉRIE AUMAGE

Valérie Aumage is a mountain guide and teacher at the National Ski and Mountaineering School (ENSA). When she was young, she dreamed of the mountains, and encounters allowed her to practice them through climbing, then mountaineering and finally ski touring.

"The mountains are a huge part of my life: I feel good there, I go there for the pleasure of being there and to share good moments with my companions, friends or clients". "It is its exemplary production choices that made me approach AYAQ. My job as a mountain guide allows me to test AYAQ garments over long periods of time, and to tell my clients about them.

Her favourite ski touring route: those she does not know yet, it is above all the discovery that pleases her.
