THE AYAQ STORY

Inuit use many words to refer to snow. In Inuktitut, AYAQ means "snow on clothes".

The brand is not just a flake of inspiration from the imagination of a mountain child who became an Olympic Champion, but a real desire to be in tune with the times, the environment and the evolution of winter outdoor activities.

AYAQ is the new brand of technical and ecological clothing for ski touring.

With a wealth of sporting and professional experience,
passionate and entrepreneurial, Vincent Defrasne is launching a new challenge with the creation in 2020 of the brand
AYAQ.

The launch will result in the development of a first collection of technical clothing, dedicated to ski touring.

With a deep desire to be in step with the evolution of society, the economy and the climate, the brand is committed to a strong strategy of eco-responsibility with production using natural and recycled materials located in Europe.

In 2020, the company was created in the heart of the Alps,
in Renens-Lausanne, Switzerland.

The project is supported from the start by the Inartis Foundation.

AYAQ on the trail of the
ski touring boom
THE FIRST AYAQ COLLECTION

Just imagine...

After a good coffee, the sun is not yet up, you set off to walk the mountain and make the first tracks.

You put on the SoftShell SHANDAR Orange Sunrise jacket, the fresh snow crunches under your feet, the cold air just grazes your cheeks.

You put on your skis, a gentle ascent to discover the pleasure of being in the mountains, to get the first orange glow of the sun, to admire the panorama on the mountains.

A short break to contemplate the summits
and listen to the sound of silence.

The cold is present but not felt, a unique and privileged moment
in osmosis with nature.

It's time to head back down, the powder is flying under the skis and shining in the first rays of the sun,
the Lonak jacket is the best protection in these ideal conditions.

The day begins for the best...

Having the best equipment... the right choice of products to enjoy these unique moments.

It is around this passion for the mountains that the AYAQ collection was born, carried by strong values:
technicality, eco-design, quality and performance .
