Extending the lifespan of our products is a core part of our sustainability commitment. AYAQ offers a repair service to maintain and extend your technical apparel, whether covered by the AYAQ Warranty or not.

1. Repair Instead of Replace

We prioritize repair over replacement and offer repairs for your technical mid and outer layers that have sustained damage or show signs of extended use.

2. The AYAQ Warranty

AYAQ products are guaranteed for their entire functional lifespan against any manufacturing or material defects. This warranty covers design, material, or workmanship faults that affect product performance.

If a defect is found, AYAQ will repair the product free of charge or replace it if repair is not possible. Shipping costs both ways are covered by AYAQ for warranty repairs. Each request is individually assessed to prioritize repair in line with our sustainability approach.

To fully benefit from the AYAQ Warranty, products purchased from authorized retailers must be registered on ayaq.com after creating a customer account.

3. Repairing a Product Defect

Our value chain and quality control are designed to prevent product defects. Should a defect occur, repairs are free under the AYAQ Warranty (see this page for conditions). Shipping costs are fully covered by AYAQ.

Repairs are carried out whenever possible, depending on parts availability and technical feasibility. If repair is impossible for a defective product covered by the warranty, a replacement or equivalent credit will be offered at AYAQ’s discretion.

4. Repairs Outside Warranty

If your product is not or no longer eligible for warranty, we can assess its repairability. Shipping costs are then the customer’s responsibility, including return shipping for the repaired product.

We do not cover repairs for base layers and accessories but can direct you to local alteration services. When sending items to our European workshops is not practical, AYAQ relies on its network of international partner workshops (see section 5) to provide local solutions that minimize environmental impact and transport costs.

Shipping costs both ways are the customer’s responsibility, except for defects covered by the AYAQ Warranty, where AYAQ covers all shipping fees.

This repair service is exclusively for private customers who purchased products on ayaq.com. Repairs for professional clients or authorized retailers are subject to specific conditions.

5. Repairs by Geographic Region

Outside Europe, AYAQ has established a network of partner workshops to ensure consistent after-sales service worldwide. For Japan, the United States, and South Korea, AYAQ uses its official repair workshop located in the respective country. This authorized partner handles warranty and non-warranty repairs to the same quality standards as in Europe.

Contact details for the partner workshop will be provided by our customer service at the time of the repair request, based on purchase location and product type. This ensures efficient local management while maintaining traceability and compliance with AYAQ’s process.

7. Products Purchased In-Store

Products bought in-store must be returned directly to the authorized retailer where the purchase was made. The retailer evaluates the request and, if necessary, forwards the repair or warranty claim to AYAQ. Our after-sales service does not handle returns from physical retail channels directly.
