An Arctic dream, a flawless friendship
Oscar Burnham was born in Sicily, but it's the peaks that have always drawn him. A climber, skier, and mountaineer, he forged a close bond with the mountains at a very young age. In 2018, his trajectory changed dramatically: a serious accident resulted in the amputation of his left forearm. But his passion remains intact. And Oscar transforms the challenge into strength.
Four years later, he will be representing France at the 2022 Beijing Paralympic Games in alpine skiing. A high-level performance, but also a new starting point: Oscar wants to continue exploring, pushing back the physical and symbolic boundaries of what is possible.
In 2024, he and his friend Ambroise Abondance set off on an expedition to Norway , far from the spotlight, into the heart of raw, stark, and powerful landscapes. This adventure is not a sporting challenge, it is a journey of accomplishment , complicity, and newfound freedom.
