Machine wash cold
Use a gentle cycle at a maximum temperature of 30°C (or cold).
Separate garments by color (avoid mixing with abrasive fabrics or items with open zippers).
Use a mild detergent
Prefer a liquid detergent without fabric softener or bleach. Softeners can clog fibers and reduce the insulating and breathable properties of Polartec.
Avoid fabric softener and bleach
Fabric softener can reduce breathability, and bleach can damage fibers and affect colors.
Do not dry clean
Dry cleaning can degrade technical fibers.
Air dry
Air dry flat if possible to prevent fabric distortion.
If using a tumble dryer, select a low heat or no heat (air cycle) setting.
Avoid ironing
Ironing is unnecessary and may damage the technical fabric. If needed, iron quickly on slightly damp clothing.
