Hybrid Mountain Softshell Pants

Technical, comfortable pants featuring a French stretch, windproof membrane at the front and breathable stretch fabric at the back. Side vents and ankle zippers enhance ventilation, while the elastic waistband with belt loops ensures a natural fit. Equipped with 3 zippered front pockets, the Rimo pants are your ideal hiking companion, providing secure and easy access to your essential gear.

French 100% recycled water-repellent fabric combined with a 100% recyclable German membrane and 90% recycled breathable Italian fabric, all assembled in a 100% Green Energy certified workshop.

A blend of three premium European technical fabrics: a French 100% recycled, water-repellent front fabric protecting a 100% recyclable German membrane, combined with a highly breathable Italian back fabric recycled at 90%. This technical assembly was developed to minimize environmental impact and is crafted in a European workshop certified 100% Green Energy.

Material Composition:

  • Waterproof and windproof protective fabric (Front - France / Germany): Recycled fabric paired with a Sympatex® waterproof, highly recyclable membrane, guaranteed PFC-free (0% fluorocarbons).
  • Breathable fabric (Back - Italy): 100% regenerated ECONYL® nylon fabric for optimal stretch.

The ECONYL® commitment: Exclusive use of regenerated ECONYL® nylon diverts ocean and landfill waste (such as fishing nets and used carpets) into a premium technical fiber, drastically reducing climate impact compared to traditional nylon.

  • Abrasion resistance: Reinforced lower leg panels protect against crampon cuts, ski edges, and rock abrasion.
  • Lower leg gusset openings: Zippers with integrated gussets for easy on/off and perfect fit over hiking or ski boots.
  • Optimized storage (3 pockets): Equipped with 2 zippered hand pockets and a quick-access zippered thigh pocket to secure topo gear or phone.
  • Custom fit: Comfortable elastic waistband complemented by belt loops for personalized adjustment in the field.
  • Ultra-fast drying: Hydrophobic properties ensure excellent moisture management to prevent cooling when stationary.

Designed with meticulous care and the selection of the most technical, mountain-friendly materials, the Rimo pants come with a 3-year warranty.

Washing: Machine wash cold (30°C max), inside out, zippers closed. Use regular detergent, no fabric softener or bleach.

Drying: Air dry inside out. Do not tumble dry.

 

We also selected materials for durability, and our artisans’ craftsmanship ensures high resistance.

To ensure it accompanies you on many outdoor adventures, we will repair your Rimo whenever possible in our workshop near the Alps.
