Insulating fiber and box fabric: 100% mechanically recycled materials from plastic bottles collected in the southern Alps. Fabrics are 100% produced at the foot of the Alps and assembled in a European workshop powered entirely by green energy.

A local circular economy achievement: the insulating fiber and box fabric are entirely made at the foot of the Alps from 100% mechanically recycled materials sourced from plastic bottles collected in the southern Alpine region. The final assembly is carried out in a European workshop certified 100% Green Energy.

Material Composition:

  • Main fabric and lining (France): 100% recycled polyester NEWLIFE® from plastic bottles. Fabric certified OEKO-TEX® (guaranteed non-toxic).
  • Insulating fill (Italy): 100% recycled polyester PrimaLoft® (anti-clumping loose fibers).
  • Stretch panels (Woven in France): Exclusive AYAQ bonded technical fabric (84% recycled polyester from the Turin region, 16% elastane), developed with 80% less adhesive than traditional laminated fabrics to maximize breathability.
  • Pockets (Italy): Soft lining 100% recycled polyester.
  • Components (France): Zip cords made from recycled polyester.

Care Instructions

Warranty, Care & Repair

Designed with great attention and made from technical, mountain-friendly materials, your Baltoro Insulated Jacket is covered by a 3-year warranty.

Washing:

  • Temperature: Machine wash at a maximum of 30°C (synthetic or delicate cycle).
  • Preparation: Close all zippers, empty pockets, and wash the Insulated Jacket inside out to protect the outer fabrics and stretch panels.
  • Detergent: Use a moderate amount of standard liquid detergent. Do not use fabric softener to preserve breathability and water-repellent treatment.
  • Tip: Add 2 or 3 tennis balls to the drum to fluff PrimaLoft® fibers and prevent clumping.
  • Spin: Select a very gentle spin cycle (max 600 rpm). Never wring the garment by hand.

Drying:

  • Method: Air dry flat on a drying rack (shake the jacket regularly during drying to restore loft). Avoid tumble drying to preserve stretch panel elasticity.
