100% eco-designed collection

Insulating fiber and box fabric: 100% mechanically recycled materials from plastic bottles collected in the southern Alps. Fabrics are 100% produced at the foot of the Alps and assembled in a European workshop powered entirely by green energy.

A feat of local circular economy: the insulating fibers and chamber fabric are entirely made at the foot of the Alps from 100% mechanically recycled materials sourced from plastic bottles collected in the southern Alpine region. Final assembly is done in a European workshop certified and labeled 100% Green Energy.

Material Composition:

  • Main fabric and lining (France): 100% recycled polyester NEWLIFE® from recycled plastic bottles. OEKO-TEX® certified fabric guaranteeing zero toxicity.
  • Thermal filling (Italy): 100% recycled polyester synthetic insulating fibers THERMORE®.
  • Windproof fabric on collar and shoulders (Italy): 100% recycled polyester.
  • Inner collar lining (Italy): Soft, comfortable 100% recycled polyester fabric.

To honor and protect this ice giant, we apply our expertise to create highly durable technical apparel made exclusively from recycled and recyclable materials, supporting your mountain adventures while minimizing environmental impact.

Care Instructions

Warranty, Care & Repairs

Designed with meticulous attention and made from technical, mountain-friendly materials, your Forno insulated vest comes with a 3-year warranty.

Washing:

  • Temperature: Machine wash at a maximum of 30°C (synthetic or delicate cycle).
  • Preparation: Always close the side magnet system (MAGNET CLAP SYSTEM) and wash the vest inside out. This prevents magnets from sticking to the drum walls or other garments during the cycle.
  • Detergent: Use a standard liquid detergent in moderate amounts. Avoid fabric softeners to preserve the outer fabrics’ breathability and water-repellent properties.
  • Spin: Select a very gentle spin cycle (maximum 600 rpm). Never wring the garment manually to remove water.

Drying:

Method: Air dry flat on a drying rack. Gently shake the vest at the end of drying to restore loft to the insulating fibers. Do not tumble dry to protect the magnetic system and component integrity.

We also selected materials for durability, and our artisans’ craftsmanship ensures high resistance.

To ensure it supports you for many years of outdoor adventures, we will repair your FORNO whenever possible in our workshop near the Alps.
