• Recycled polyester yarn made from 100% recycled plastic bottles (Italy - Turin region)
• Laminated fabric specially developed by AYAQ, with at least 80% less glue than a classic 2-layer fabric thanks to an innovative process
• This partnership with our supplier allows for greater breathability and better environmental performance.

Pocket fabric (Italy):

• Soft, 100% recycled polyester
• Mechanical recycling of polyester for all our fabrics, for greater respect for the environment

Zip cords (France): made from recycled polyester

Your BALTORO jacket takes its name from one of the world's largest glaciers, in Pakistan. To respect and protect this icy giant, we've made every effort to design an eco-friendly garment made from natural or recycled materials, because AYAQ wants to support your best mountain adventures without harming the environment.

Washing

• Machine wash at 30°C maximum, zips closed
• We recommend adding two tennis balls and other items of clothing to the machine. Use regular detergent, no fabric softener or bleach.
• Select a thorough rinse to thoroughly remove all the detergent.
• Choose a gentle spin to allow the stuffing fibers to stay in place.

Drying

• For good positioning of the padding fibers after washing, we recommend putting your jacket directly in the dryer, with 2 tennis balls
• You can also choose to air dry, preferably flat, turning your jacket over regularly.

We have selected the materials for their robustness, and the high-quality workmanship of our craftsmen gives the down jacket great resistance.

To ensure it lasts for many years on your outdoor adventures, we will repair your BALTORO Insulation Jacket whenever possible in our workshop close to the Alps.
