Machine wash cold
Use a gentle cycle at a maximum temperature of 30°C (or cold).
Separate clothes by color (avoid mixing with abrasive fabrics or garments with open zippers).
Use a mild detergent
Prefer a liquid detergent without fabric softener or bleach. Fabric softeners can clog the fibers and reduce the insulating and breathable properties of Polartec.
Avoid fabric softener and bleach
Fabric softener can reduce the breathability of the fabric, and bleach can damage the fibers and affect the colors.
Do not dry clean:
Dry cleaning can degrade technical fibers.
Air dry
Allow to air dry, preferably flat to prevent the fabric from deforming.
If using a tumble dryer, choose a low temperature or no-heat program (air cycle).
Avoid ironing
Ironing is not necessary and could damage the technical fabric. If really necessary, quickly iron on a slightly damp garment.
